Wilting greens getting you down? Here are 3 easy steps to make sure that your produce stays fresh all week, or even for several weeks. (1) Get your veggies into the fridge quickly. Don’t leave your share in the box longer than necessary. (2) Keep veggies humid. This means storing them in a loose plastic bag, preferably with a wet paper towel or cloth in the bag. This is not necessary if you have a high functioning crisper drawer. (3) If you didn’t store the food properly and its already wilted, you can revive it with a 5 minute “bath” in ice water, followed by proper storage.
