“Food for the People” Fund
The federal government is weaponizing hunger locally and globally and we must strengthen our mutual aid and organizing networks to ensure that no-one in our community goes hungry.
In 2025, we established a $25,000+ emergency Food for the People fund for our Solidarity Share families, FIRE (Farming In Relationship to Earth) Immersion alums, and Soul Fire in the City members, guided by the truth that our survival is interwoven and inseparable. As winter approached, we committed to redistributing 200 boxes of food aid, each enough to support a family of four for a month.

We are a worker-owned cooperative of bee educators. Living in South Florida we serve our community through interactive educational workshops, people-focused sustainability programming, and thoughtfully handmade-made bee products.
In the last two years of meeting regularly with our friends in Palestine, there are some themes that stand out: beekeeping in Palestine is an act of resistance; the resilience of the Palestinian people is unmatched; and that even amidst stories of death and repression, there is hope & strength to be found in connecting across borders. In the spirit of collective liberation, we invite you to join us & connect!
As always, because the need for funds does not stop, we are fundraising for stipends for our Palestinian speakers & interpreters. Additional funds raised will go towards our mutual aid or beekeeping workshop campaigns. Please send your donation of $1 – $100 to @combcutters (venmo) or combcutters@gmail.com (zelle/paypal).
