Susuyu Lassa, Alumni and Partnerships Co-Coordinator, (she/her) carries the land with her, as her last name is that of the land that nurtured her father’s lineage. Drawn to ecological justice spaces via a deep care and respect for the land and all those who walk upon it -seen and unseen-, Susuyu hopes to continue to find ways to engage in the ever-ongoing process of transformative change in the context of community, bringing the fruits of her lived experience to organize around our assets and needs. Susuyu loves to create, imagine, nap in warm sunspots, and read.
