Blessings! Meet Winter Exley (he/they), Farm Assistant. He was born with a passionate love for the world and the peoples in it, so tending to the earth was instinctive.
He grew up on his grandmother’s land where they woke when the roosters called and spent the days picking crabapples, collecting water from the spring, and exploring the woods. Now, Winter continues to deepen his love for the trees and relationship with the woods, as he tends the land at Soul Fire Farm. Winter spends equal time teaching and taking dance classes, which, in his own words, is his “most true form of self-expression”. As Winter dances, his feet press into the earth with intention, shifting his weight to absorb and transmit the messages of his ancestors.
