Dayo is a mixed-media changemaker and soul steward committed to forming liberated relationships with the earth and those who inhabit it. Their current work uses data analysis and storytelling to empower communities to dismantle systems of oppression and redistribute resources for the common good.
They bring eight years of combined experience in agriculture, business management, and design theory to the team. It is their goal to continue using these experiences, and the ones to come, to keep cultivating healthy community spaces with food, land, and remembrance as a foundation.
Dayo currently resides on ceded Lenape lands in Flatbush, NY with their partner Bette and pup Idris.
Their latest projects include What’s G’hood? a series that shares black and indegenous history through food stories, and Farmers Market, an application that organizes resources and distribution channels for farmers of color.
