Black and Indigenous Solidarity Conference

Black and Indigenous identifying relatives are welcome to join in learning from a stellar lineup of Black and Indigenous guest speakers and join facilitated discussions on important issues of our times.

Sample Topics:

1. Confronting anti-blackness in the Indigenous community

2. Naming and transforming colonial complicity in the Black community

3. Earth People: Black and Red solidarity for Mother Earth healing

4. Paths forward: What does unity and solidarity look like for the 21st century?

The ReHuman School was inspired by Black students in our "Building Solidarity with Indigenous Communities" course to offer this connective space, and we look forward to welcoming as many attendees across the world as possible.

In this conference, you will:

• Hear from incredible Black and Indigenous leaders and how they are building intercultural solidarity

• Reflect on shared ancestries and histories between Black and Indigenous peoples

• Connect in safe space with relatives across the globe through breakout sessions and community forums

• Identify steps and actions that can be made together in service to each other and Mother Earth
